With single-stage injection stretch blow molding, GIZEH has added another manufacturing process to its portfolio in Brantford, its production site in Canada. Highly transparent Nutella jars made of PET in 400g and 750g sizes went into production as planned and on-schedule., despite the unforeseen challenges brought about by the pandemic.
The production lines, equipped with both leak and metal detectors, and fully automated handling robots, produce the curved PET jars with their unmistakable silhouette using state-of-the-art technology. As of July 2021, GIZEH’s Brantford plant has been producing injection-molded Nutella lids, complete with the golden sealing insert for induction sealing.
