On August 1, 2025, the time had finally come, ten new apprentices began their professional journey at GIZEH Verpackungen. Across a total of eight different apprenticeship programs, both in technical and commercial fields, they are embarking on an exciting new chapter in their lives.
At GIZEH, apprenticeship training has long been a key part of our tradition and corporate philosophy. Every year, we guide young people as they take their first steps into professional life, because we’re committed to developing motivated young talent who will help to shape the future success of our company.
Our technical apprentices benefit from a dedicated training studio where they can gain hands-on experience in a real-world setting. In addition, all apprentices enjoy in-house lessons, exam preparation courses, and English classes that are offered across all apprenticeship programs.
The first week of the apprenticeship at GIZEH traditionally offers a diverse mix of introductions, seminars, and team-building activities. Alongside an introduction to IT, a plant tour, and essential safety briefings. The schedule also included practical workshops such as the „Finance Fit seminar“ in cooperation with Volksbank Oberberg and a communication skills seminar.
The week concluded with a highlight. A team event day at „Outdoor Oberberg“, where all apprentices came together for a day of fun and connection.
